Our Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) group challenges convention and drives innovation to transform how missions are executed. We design and develop the hardware, algorithms, and software that enable precision control of complex systems in demanding, zero-gravity environments. Through digital modernization, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies, we push the boundaries of national security and defense. While much of the work on this program remains classified, you will play a key role in developing end-to-end solutions that deliver tangible impact. You'll collaborate with some of the brightest minds in engineering to design, integrate, and deploy pioneering capabilities that shape the future of our mission.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of guidance, navigation, and control systems that enable spacecraft to operate in complex space environments. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust, flight-proven GN&C solutions and ensure mission success through rigorous simulation and validation.
What you will be doing:
Successful applicants will generally possess a minimum of 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
9x80 every other Friday off.
