In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:
Lockheed Martin Operations is looking for a dynamic and industrious Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Director. As the GSE Director, you will be charged with standing up and leading a multi-functional workforce supporting the enterprise programs with Mechanical and Electrical Ground Support Equipment and associated Software solutions. This involves managing all aspects of GSE from proposal through engineering and on to delivery and operations support. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of what it takes to support the manufacturing, assembly, testing, transportation, and handling of our LM Space Products. The GSE Director will be responsible for strategy, staffing, execution and affordability for all Ground Support Equipment across LM Space including ensuring strong ties between E&T, Operations, Ignite and the Line of Business Programs. Some travel (~10-15%) will be required. This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado, and be expected to work in the office.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $309,120. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
