Full Stack Engineer / Ansible / Kubernetes

The Galaxy Automation Initiative within the Information Technology and Digital Enablement organization is seeking talented automation developers with Ansible and OpenShift experience to support the Galaxy deployment automation and testbed platform. Qualified candidates should possess a broad knowledge across the software development tech stack. General responsibilities include:

• Ansible collection, role and playbook development and automation scripts within a community developed common codebase
• General knowledge of Kubernetes and specific knowledge and experience with Red Hat OpenShift
• Installation of system wide upgrades and maintenance
• Assist with the onboarding of applications into the Galaxy testbed
• Monitoring and maintenance of system dashboards, logs, audits
• Maintaining system documentation and onboarding guides using gitlab pages, markdown and confluence
• Compliance with and implementation of security requirements for deployment
• Collaborating with internal technical teams and supplier support

Desired skills:

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift
• Experience with developing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with scripting languages and tools such as Python, with the ability to learn and transition to new programming languages as needed
• Experience with DevOps tools and concepts: Docker, Git (GitLab, GitHub), Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD)

Ability to work remotely:

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedule:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Security Clearance:

Secret
