 
                                                
                                            Must hold a current journeyman or state specific electrician license and possess core safety certifications (NFPA 70E, CPR/First Aid). At least five years of hands on experience with industrial electrical systems—motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution—and a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity, where they have planned work, managed performance, and led a team of technicians. Experience overseeing shutdowns, upgrades, or retrofits, together with budgeting and cost control duties, is essential. Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, as well as proficiency with preventive maintenance software (e.g., MAXIMO) and diagnostic tools. Well versed in motor control circuits, VFDs, transformers, the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E, and applicable OSHA regulations.
Performs tasks related to the overall management and operations of facilities, including energy management, material inventory, maintenance and construction. May oversee the repair, replacement or redesign of facilities, and preventive maintenance planning and scheduling. Implements the timely completion of requirements in compliance with Company programs, objectives and within established cost parameters. May monitor work performed by vendors and/or subcontractors; determines adequacy of work relative to job specifications/scope, and recommends corrective actions as required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for briefing staff, preparing reports, and coordinating with engineering, production, and management, while effective leadership—team building, conflict resolution is expected. Physical requirements entail lifting 50 lb or more, climbing ladders, and working in confined or elevated spaces, and the position demands flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and on call overtime. Proven experience with substation equipment. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing Medium Voltage systems. Strong safety orientation. Strong ability to lead crews, manage schedules and communicate effectively.
