Please join us as an Electronics Design Engineer, where you will work on the development, production and certification of the Thrust Vector Control (TVC) avionics on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program. Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

  • Work on a cross functional team to support the development, production and certification of a Thurst Vector Controller electronics unit.
  • Participate in design reviews, Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions, and Failure Review Board (FRB) as required.
  • Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to End Item Data Package for Product Certification, and integration of assemblies into system.

To be effective in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in analog and digital electronics development for avionics systems.
  • Familiarity with engineering processes.
  • Proficiency with end item hardware development.
  • Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
  • Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
  • Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle.
  • Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
  • Proficiency in presentations and in written communications.
  • 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship.
