Electrical Engineer / GMLRS Supplier Technical Lead

You will be the Electrical Engineer/ GMLRS Supplier Technical Lead for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, including the production of the GMLRS rockets.

What You Will Be Doing As the Electrical Engineer/ GMLRS Supplier Technical Lead, you will provide technical leadership and guidance of subsystem supplier sourcing efforts to ensure the successful development and integration of electrical subsystems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working within a team of Electrical Engineers to evaluate electrical/electronic failures and determine the appropriate root cause and corrective actions.
• Independently perform complex troubleshooting on electrical/electronic systems.
• Hands-On troubleshooting using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment.
• Understanding and interpreting schematics and performance requirements related to the GMLRS rocket system and subsystems.
• Work within a cross-functional team to effectively address integration and interface challenges faced during development and integration.
• Support engineering activities with subject matter experts.
• Creation of technical documentation describing test failures and troubleshooting procedures that comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures.
• Provide technical data and evaluation for components, equipment, and systems consistent with engineering plans and contract requirements.
• May support engineers in the development of technical proposal and provide input on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.
