The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth, and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. As a Circuit Design Engineering Manager, you will lead the development of the Initiation and Preset Subsystem for the weapons system with an emphasis on the Missile Computer, Thrust Vector Control, Networking and Communications Bus architecture and design. Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Provide leadership on a fast paced team from requirements through development and production. Be responsible to assure coordination between functional groups during the product development life cycle. Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer. Conducting personnel management for a portion of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Tactical Avionics team. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training. Responsible for performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Participate in technical reviews and audits. To be effective in this role, you will need: Project lead in electronics hardware design with a track record of success in meeting technical, schedule, and cost objectives. 8+ years professional experience. While no clearance is needed to start this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. Why Lockheed Martin?
