Associate Manager Supplier Quality Engineer / Orlando, FL | Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position based in Orlando, FL supporting the ATWS Program portfolio. The Quality professional will be responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of key suppliers, continuous improvement, talent development, training and knowledge continuity. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Supplier Quality Engineering. The position requires manufacturing experience / knowledge developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.

What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible, but not limited to the following:

• Develop/execute supplier strategy in partnership with the ATWS GSC team
• Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified
• Support the Supplier Integrated Product Teams and partner with the various production sites/centers with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non-conformance aging
• Analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex
• Lead the Supplier Quality team in program corrective action meetings, identifying trends, assist in problem resolution and ensure responsible parties meet commitments
• Coordinate and/or perform assessments and audits on processes and procedures of supply base to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001/AS9100
• Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs
• Interface with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issues
• Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement
• Participate (as required) in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities
