AMMM Airframe Design Engineer
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Design Engineer for the AMMM Program in Marietta, GA. A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft design problems.
Responsibilities for this position may include:
- Creation and/or modification of 3D loft surfaces to assist organizations with 3D model development.
- Contributing to retention of legacy data through drawing interpretation, 2D scans, conversion to vector data and 2D plotting to assist with both production and supplier quality validations.
- Assisting in 3D model development for complex parts.
- Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will not require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. A level 4 employee typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills:
- Experience with CATIA V5, CADAM and Raster to Vector Conversion Software
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with loft contour manipulation
- Experience with legacy drawing interpretation
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and communication skills

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
