Affordability Supply Chain Engineer

You will be the Affordability Supply Chain Engineer for our Procurement team. Our team is responsible for ensuring that our products and systems are designed and developed with affordability in mind, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize costs.

What You Will Be Doing As the Affordability Supply Chain Engineer, you will be responsible for leading programs to identify cost drivers and develop strategies to achieve affordability goals. You will work closely with design engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to integrate affordability considerations into the design process and identify areas for cost reduction. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading cost and lead time reduction workshops with suppliers
• Collaborating with design engineers to integrate affordability into the design process
• Identifying and evaluating alternative materials, processes, and suppliers to reduce costs and lead times
• Developing and implementing cost reduction plans with suppliers
• Providing affordability guidance and support to stakeholders
• Creating policies and training to drive affordability as a standard mindset
• Coordinating support for Cross-BA Value Engineering collaborative projects
