We, Livin Farms, enable companies in the food industry to convert their low-value organic waste into high-quality insect products. How? By offering two services. Firstly, the construction of a modular, automated insect factory that is fed with the customer's organic waste.

Secondly, the regular provision of insect larvae that then grow quickly in the built factory by eating the organic waste. These can be processed into valuable insect protein powder, oil, and natural fertilizer after just ten days.

Through this model, high-quality insect products are made available on the pet food market and part of the protein gap in the pet food industry is closed.

General Role Objective

Responsible for international projects, planning and construction of our Hive PRO insect feeding facilities.

Responsibilities

• Process engineering planning and concept development for industrial plants
• Creation of process flow diagrams, R&I flow diagrams, process descriptions, mass and energy balances, and dimensioning of plant components
• Specification of plant equipment
• Participation in assembly supervision and plant commissioning
• Based on the tender documents you create, you compare the offers of suppliers in technical points and take into account the requirements of our customers
• During the plant construction or plant conversion, you organize the interfaces
• Creation of safety considerations and risk analyses
• Participation and coordination of multidisciplinary feasibility studies
• Documentation of coordination and negotiations with suppliers and customers

Requirements

• You have a completed diploma or master's degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or similar fields
• You have experience in the development, planning, implementation, or commissioning of industrial plants and in process development and optimization
• You are used to customer-oriented and quality-oriented as well as independent work and can handle projects as part of a team professionally
• You like to work in a team and it is fun for you to work with people of different professional backgrounds together
• High innovative spirit and willingness to develop
• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking
• Flexibility and resilience

Mandatory information in Austria: The minimum gross salary for this position is 3,500 Euros per month. Depending on professional experience and qualifications, we are willing to offer an above-average salary.
