Role Objective
Lead and grow the UKI Neuromodulation business with full accountability for sales performance, market development, and customer engagement.
This role combines Sales and Marketing leadership to define and execute a clear commercial strategy, expand adoption of VNS therapy, and build a high-performing team that consistently delivers results.
In this role, you are a member of the European Neuromodulation Leadership Team and report into the VP of Sales Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Leadership & Performance
- Own overall commercial performance across the UKI region, including revenue growth and profitability
- Set clear targets and ensure delivery through structured execution and performance management
- Translate strategy into focused, measurable actions and track progress through leading indicators
- Drive disciplined use of CRM and data to improve visibility, forecasting, and results
- Commercial Strategy & Market Growth
- Define and execute a clear strategy to grow the business and expand adoption of VNS therapy
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities across key accounts and regions
- Strengthen market position by responding effectively to competitive dynamics and evolving customer needs
- Ensure strong account planning and prioritisation across the organisation
- Sales & Marketing Integration
- Lead both Sales and Marketing teams as one aligned commercial organisation
- Ensures marketing effectiveness is measured and directly tied to commercial outcomes
- Oversee development and execution of:
- Customer engagement strategies
- Education and awareness initiatives
- Targeted campaigns that drive adoption
- Translate market insights into impactful actions that influence customer behaviour
- Market Development & Customer Impact
- Expand adoption by improving how and when patients gain access to therapy
- Acts as a visible leader in the market, building strong relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic accounts
- Identify and remove barriers to growth across the customer journey
- Ensure consistent and high-quality customer engagement across the team
- Cross-functional Leadership
- Work closely with Medical, Market Access, and other internal partners to deliver aligned strategies
- Ensure a coordinated approach to key accounts and strategic initiatives
- Act as the central commercial leader within the UKI organisation
- Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing, accountable team
- Set clear expectations and create a culture focused on results and continuous improvement
- Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential
- Foster collaboration, ownership, and strong team engagement
- Operational Excellence
- Establish clear business rhythms, including regular performance and strategy reviews

Candidate Profile
Experience
- Proven leadership experience in both Sales and Marketing within MedTech or specialty pharma
- Strong track record of delivering sustained commercial growth
- Demonstrated success in market development and customer engagement strategies
- Experience managing complex, consultative sales environments
- P&L responsibility experience is strongly preferred

Travel Requirements
Significant travel (~50%) across the UK and Ireland, with regular international travel
