Electrical Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Currently, we are looking for an Electrical Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join the Littelfuse Maintenance Department. In this role, you will perform routine and preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on electrical systems and manufacturing equipment. This role is based on-site in Chippenham and reports directly to Maintenance Supervisor TPM.

Perform routine maintenance on electrical manufacturing systems and equipment

Repair or replace faulty electrical components

Conduct calibrations and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address cross-functional issues and assist with fault diagnosis

Potential to work with mechanical systems, including pneumatics and pipework

Work effectively on projects individually and as part of a team

Understand and complete Risk Assessments and adhere to safe working practices

Follow Health & Safety and emergency procedures, particularly those outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Management System

Higher education in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a similar field

Completed apprenticeship in an electronic or electrical engineering discipline is a plus

1–2 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance

Have a good general understanding of mechanical engineering

Be able to read circuit schematic diagrams

Committed to continuous improvement and team effectiveness

Eager to learn, understand equipment in depth, and deliver lasting repairs

Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective cross-departmental relationships

Self-motivated team player who can also work independently

Willing to work occasional overtime when needed for critical equipment
