Quality Assurance Sample Processor

This role is Onsite #LI-Onsite - Durham

Under the supervision of the Assistant Manager Quality Services, this position assists with activities required to process and coordinate inbound and outbound product samples to support QA processes. The position will help to identifying product issues, may support actions to correct the product by following standard documented processes. The incumbent will help document the sample preparations as directed by the supervisor.

About the Role

  • Assist in processing and validating inbound product samples and non-conforming products.
  • Support the tracking of QA samples and to confirm accurate receipt and movement of the goods.
  • Assist in tracking samples as directed by supervisor.
  • Help prepare samples for lab testing and facilitate communication with internal teams.
  • Execute routine tasks, any deviation from standard processes are to be referred to the supervisor.
  • Where required, support the date code monitoring process by writing down the date code and transferring this information to team members or supervisor for further action.
  • Work with internal QA stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate movement of products.
  • Assist in coordinating shipments for excess samples and support product returns or product disposals as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records in corporate and QA systems, ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Respond to inquiries from team members, providing necessary information to support operations

About You

  • Must be able to lift cases and carry up to 18.9 kg (41.6 lbs)
  • Must be available to work a rotating schedule: 2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on afternoons.
  • Completed post-secondary education or relevant experience
  • Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing or other industrial environments
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and quality assurance processes preferred.
  • Proficient in using technology applications for tracking and documentation.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
