As a Senior Project Lead Engineer in the team, you will be the technical leader to lead, plan, and execute large and complex high voltage air and gas insulated substation (AIS & GIS) projects to meet customer needs, legal requirements, and standards.

What we require:

• 10+ years experience as a Leading Engineer in the engineering field.
• Expertise in substation design and technology:
• Layouts, sections, calculations, grounding & lightning design, civil design input, steel design input, transformer design input, HV/MV substation design related parameters for cables and cable pulling, Control & relay protection design, LS & VS system design.
• Expertise as a reviewer of technical specifications & component selection
• Strong knowledge in MS Office and design calculation tools; knowledge in AutoCAD is necessary.
• Preferably Swedish speaking.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the project’s engineering team across the portfolio.
• Oversee the technical construction of substations and control systems.
• Responsible for overall project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, processes, and customer specifications.
• Develop and implement optimized solutions for project deliveries.
• Coordinate and collaborate with customers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure project deliveries are on time, within budget, and of high quality.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders for synchronized project delivery.
• Coordinate all activities within the project’s organization.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and quality material procurement.
• Review and approve construction drawings and documents.
• Primary contact for technical issues with the customer.
• Drive the completion of all project activities.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience in delivering complex projects for the transmission and distribution market.
