Vice President Of Account Management
linqd. is seeking a proven leader to drive growth and program performance, serving clients in the building products industry. As VP of Account Management, you will shape strategy by leveraging data-driven insights, leading high-performing teams, and strengthening client partnerships to uncover new opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in single- and multi-tier distribution models, proven success within the building products industry, go-to-market strategies focused on Pros, and expanding client relationships directly and through adjacent partners.

We are looking for a Vice President of Account Management to lead client relationships, guide a high-performing team, and drive results across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C markets.
About the Role
- Grow annual revenue to meet or exceed company and business unit goals.
- Build and mentor an account management team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and execution.
- Proactively identify new opportunities for linqd.'s services, using a consultative approach to understand prospective client goals and design solutions that achieve results.
- Partner with clients to uncover insights, guide marketing and sales strategies, and develop tools/programs that ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Define and actively manage the future service roadmap for key customers, new accounts, and targeted markets.
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships, providing direct commitments to clients and ensuring smooth transitions from pitch to long-term partnership.
- Build and manage a network of vertically aligned partners—consultants, creative agencies, and other service providers—supporting the building products industry.
- Act as a strategic advisor, helping clients navigate industry challenges while creating measurable growth outcomes.
- Serve as an active member of the executive management team, shaping and achieving business unit sales objectives.
- Promote an environment of teamwork, employee value, innovation, and smart risk-taking, while fostering collaboration with key suppliers and business partners.
What We're Looking For
- 8–12+ years in account management leadership within an agency, consultancy, or marketing role (B2B, B2C, or B2B2C).
- Building industry or multi-channel/multi-audience experience strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in marketing strategy, digital, omnichannel, and MarTech solutions.
- A track record of building and mentoring successful account teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where client expectations and opportunities evolve quickly.
- A BS/BA in Marketing, Business, or Communications required; MBA preferred.
