We are now seeking a research engineer in immunology with a focus on leukemia physiology.
You will primarily work on projects focused on understanding how blood cancer cells affect immune systems in various tissues such as the spleen, lymph nodes, and parts of the brain. Your work aims to increase our understanding of the underlying causes that allow leukemia cells to grow in different organs, and what effects cancer cells have on immune cell function within these tissues. A special focus will be placed on studying the impact of leukemia cells on the cells of the nervous system.
Your work will include experimental tumor models, where you will analyze tissues using both histological methods and flow cytometry, as well as RNA sequencing.
