Order Picker / Forklift Operator
Position: Order Picker / Forklift Operator
Pay: $18/hr
Location: Park 100 area, Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift
Job Responsibilities:
- Order Picking (80%) – Use RF gun & paper pick lists, operate forklift, and assemble orders in staging lanes.
- Housekeeping (10%) – Keep aisles, racks, and pallet areas clean and safe.
- Forklift Inspections (5%) – Complete pre- and post-shift checks, report any issues.
- Inventory Audit (5%) – Assist with annual counts and product logging.
- Order Loading & Unloading (10%) – Help load/unload trucks, check received orders, document discrepancies, and support returns process.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift experience required (must operate safely).
- Ability to read and interpret order details.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Comfortable using RF Gen guns.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
Physical Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment physical.
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for most of the shift (80%).
- Occasional bending, squatting, climbing, and crawling.
