We are seeking a dynamic sales leader to establish and scale a new market sales function focused on our emerging business segment. This is a high-impact opportunity to build sales discipline and operational rigor in a mature but historically underserved part of our organization, where significant untapped revenue potential exists. You will be responsible for both hands-on account management of a strategic portfolio and building a best-in-class inside sales team from the ground up. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial leader who thrives on creating structure, capturing low-hanging fruit, and establishing scalable processes that drive measurable business impact.
Strategic Account Ownership: manage and grow a portfolio of emerging business accounts through consultative selling, strategic planning, and proactive relationship management to maximize revenue, retention, and customer lifetime value.
Inside Sales Team Leadership: build, develop, and lead a high-performing inside sales team through effective coaching, performance management, and talent development initiatives that drive consistent achievement of sales targets.
Function & Discipline Building: establish foundational sales processes, performance standards, and operational disciplines for this new function, creating a scalable model that can be replicated across the organization.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion: design and execute data-informed sales strategies to penetrate new markets, deepen existing customer relationships, and systematically identify and convert qualified business opportunities within this high-potential segment.
Sales Operations Excellence: establish and optimize scalable sales processes including proactive retention strategies, structured business reviews, competitive bidding frameworks, and funnel management disciplines.
CRM & Technology Enablement: champion adoption and utilization of our centralized CRM platform (Salesforce preferred) to ensure data integrity, visibility into sales activities, and accurate forecasting.
Analytics-Driven Performance Management: partner with Sales Operations & Excellence to leverage insights from potential modeling, territory optimization, and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.
