We are currently looking for an experienced, solutions-focused Business Services Manager to join our leadership team at our Lurnea facility in Sydney.
Why this role matters:
The Business Services Manager is the operational backbone of administrative excellence at site. You will lead the Business Services team, ensuring we deliver processes that are efficient, cost-effective and customer centric.
Your leadership will directly influence productivity, profitability, and the customer experience.
What you'll do:
- Lead, coach and develop the Business Services team to deliver high performance, productivity and customer-focused outcomes.
- Strengthen business performance by ensuring administrative processes are lean, scalable and aligned to operational requirements.
- Develop and implement effective processes that support operations in maximising administrative efficiency and driving continuous improvement across P&L revenue and cost lines.
- Manage resource allocation across the team to ensure optimal resourcing, minimal waste and high productivity.
- Own and manage the indirect, warehouse supplies and consumables cost lines within the P&L, ensuring strong cost discipline and visibility.
- Partner closely with Operations, Transport, Customer Engagement, Finance and Commercial teams to ensure seamless information flow and operational alignment.
- Analyse performance reports and business metrics, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective action.
- Champion continuous improvement—bringing forward ideas that streamline work, improve quality and drive better customer outcomes.
What you bring:
- Demonstrated leadership experience within business services, administration, commercial management, site support or similar operational support environments.
- Experience working in logistics, supply chain, warehousing or FMCG (preferred).
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with confidence managing P&L cost/revenue lines.
- Proven success improving administrative processes and efficiencies.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems.
- Strong systems capability (Microsoft Office, WMS/TMS exposure highly valued).
- Exceptional organisation, communication and people leadership skills.
