Internal Wholesale Manager - Annuities

As the Annuity Internal Wholesale Manager, you will manage and motivate your assigned sales team and internal sales activities which lead to an increase in sales revenue and market share within the assigned area of responsibility. You will manage a team and processes for your assigned area of responsibility.

What you'll be doing:

  • Achieving or exceeding assigned internal sales teams sales/profitability targets
  • Analyzing benchmarks and performance metrics to track sales plan progress, effectiveness, return on spend, and bottom-line impact
  • Managing and monitoring sales targets for assigned sales teams and monitoring individual sales team member performance on a continual basis
  • Managing and overseeing assigned internal sales team and sales activities which lead to an increase in sales revenue and market share within assigned area of responsibility
  • Providing mentorship, training, and coaching to sales staff to ensure sales goals are achieved
  • Ensuring that top talent is hired and retained for his/her assigned areas of responsibility
  • Developing and overseeing the execution of the inside sales plan to continuously build sales volume and profitability
  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal/external stakeholders to achieve sales objectives
  • Ensuring information is collected and entered accurately and timely from customer contact necessary to create sales proposals
  • Identifying and resolving any potential conflicts regarding Lincoln's products/services
  • Monitoring inbound/outbound communications to ensure quality and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Managing and overseeing expenses for his/her assigned areas of responsibility

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services sales, marketing, and/or relationship management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
  • 2+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders through a collaborative and client-focused approach
  • Experience in effectively balancing team workloads to support operational efficiency and performance
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, retaining, and developing talent, with a focus on fostering technical expertise and leadership growth through real-time feedback
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced project management capabilities, including the ability to coordinate concurrent initiatives, meet tight deadlines, and perform under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • FINRA Series 26 required within 90 days of hire

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
