This senior level position is responsible for contributing to and performing tasks within the ITS Application Virtualization department supporting LifePoint's virtualized application and desktop offerings including Operating Systems, Infrastructure, and middleware with proficiency which meets ITS/ Business expectations, and Customer Service Level Agreements. This position serves on project teams that require the department's involvement, develops best practices, provides departmental education, and provides guidance to less experienced team members.

Education: Associate degree in information technology or related field, and/or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5+ years of experience with virtualized application/desktop delivery, as well as application layering and user environment management.
Certifications: Certifications such as Citrix Certified Professional/Expert (CCP-V, CCE-V) and Omnissa Horizon or VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DTM) preferred but not required.

In hospital environment, the individual may be exposed to hazards and unusual elements, which may include but are not limited to bloodborne pathogens and/or contagious illnesses, toxic chemicals, and biohazardous materials which may require extensive safety precautions and the use of protective equipment.
This position can expect overnight travel by land and/or air according to the requirements below:
Normal business hours are: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. However, schedules may vary by business necessity. Remote workers are expected to be available during normal business hours, unless otherwise approved by the department leader(s).
