Vice President of Human Resources

The Vice President of Human Resources provides strategic leadership, consultation, and support for all LifeCare Home Health agencies and branches. This position ensures that the human resource practices of The Company meet federal and state employment laws, accrediting body standards, Company policies and procedures, and professional HR standards. Additionally, this position ensures the development and implementation of effective workforce strategies, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training. The Vice President of Human Resources plans, coordinates, directs, and leads the Company in achieving strategic business goals in the areas of talent development, organizational culture, compliance, and staff engagement.

Requirements

Experience:

路 A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive HR leadership experience.

路 A minimum of ten (10) years of recent healthcare or home healthcare HR experience in an executive role.

路 Previous multi-site executive leadership experience required.

路 Extensive knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and accrediting standards that govern healthcare organizations.

Education:

Graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration required.

Licensure/Certification:

Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
