Post-Closing Loan Operations Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Post-Closing Loan Operations Specialist to join our team. This role supports Commercial, Consumer, and Mortgage loan portfolios by ensuring accurate post-closing processes and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Aberdeen, MD (Onsite Daily)
Pay Rate: $24–$28 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate all post-closing loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure proper booking and servicing of Commercial, Consumer, and Mortgage loans in the core banking system.
- Process collateral perfection, including UCC filings, deeds of trust, and lien releases.
- Perform quality control checks and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and internal lending regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address post-closing issues and provide exceptional support.
- Prepare reports and assist with audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in loan operations, post-closing, or related banking roles.
- Strong knowledge of loan documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in loan servicing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
