Human Resources Business Partner

LHH is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner on behalf of a confidential client in the manufacturing/distribution sector. This is a high-impact role for an HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and brings proven experience managing people, driving HR initiatives, and strengthening organizational effectiveness.

The Human Resources Business Partner will oversee daily HR operations, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, training, and policy development. This role requires a strong decision-maker with excellent communication skills and the ability to support leaders and employees across all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for hourly and salaried roles.
  • Coach and support supervisors and managers on performance, setting, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  • Ensure HR policies are current and compliant with state and federal employment laws.
  • Manage employee relations matters, documentation, conflict resolution, and step-by-step investigations.
  • Provide guidance on compensation trends and support competitive pay practices.
  • Oversee training programs, orientation processes, and ongoing skill-development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department managers to update job descriptions, evaluate staffing needs, and improve workforce structure.
  • Support HR projects related to culture, engagement, succession planning, and process optimization.
  • Handle HR reporting, recordkeeping, and general administrative duties.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of HR management experience, including direct people leadership.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or distribution is required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, employment law, compliance, and workforce best practices.
  • Background supporting recruiting, employee relations, coaching, and organizational development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
