HR Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an HR Generalist with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a temp opportunity, located in Long Island City, NY. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating payroll processes by collecting, reviewing, and submitting employee data such as new hires, terminations, pay changes, and timekeeping information to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
• Administering employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, leave programs, and wellness offerings; serving as the main point of contact for employee questions and vendor coordination
• Supporting full-cycle recruitment efforts including posting roles, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, coordinating hiring logistics, and assisting with offer and onboarding processes
• Serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers by addressing employee relations matters, answering policy-related questions, and supporting performance management and corrective action processes
• Assisting with onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation, documentation, system access, and exit processes
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS and personnel files, ensuring data integrity and compliance
• Supporting HR policies and procedures, helping ensure consistent application and compliance with employment laws and internal guidelines
• Assisting with audits, reporting, and HR metrics related to benefits, payroll, and workforce data
• Partnering with leadership on employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and culture-related programs
• Staying current on HR best practices, employment regulations, and benefits trends to support continuous process improvement

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of handling Payroll/Human Resources

Work Site: Onsite Employment Type: Temp Salary: $30-40/hr
