HR Generalist

Employee Relations Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Employee Relations Specialist with 2 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a temp to perm opportunity, located in Bronx, NY. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting workplace investigations into employee complaints, misconduct allegations, performance issues, and policy violations; preparing clear, objective reports.
  • Providing guidance to managers on performance management, corrective actions, documentation standards, coaching conversations, and conflict resolution.
  • Interpreting and applying HR policies to ensure consistent decision making aligned with employment laws and internal guidelines.
  • Managing employee relations cases from intake to resolution, maintaining accurate records and tracking trends for leadership insights.
  • Supporting disciplinary processes, including creating written warnings, PIPs, and termination documentation following best practice ER procedures.
  • Partnering with HRBPs and Legal on complex or high risk situations to mitigate organizational risk.
  • Assisting in policy development by identifying gaps or recurring issues and recommending improvements.
  • Facilitating trainings on topics like respectful workplace behavior, communication, and manager best practices.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably Employee Relations

Work Site: Onsite Employment Type: Temp to Perm Salary: $28-31/hr
