HR Assistant – Contract Position

Location: Near Pittsburgh, PA

Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour

Employment Type: Contract

As a third-party recruiter, I am partnering with a reputable organization near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to fill an immediate HR Assistant contract role. This opportunity is ideal for an HR professional with hands-on experience supporting FMLA filings and recruiting efforts, who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with FMLA filings and leave of absence documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Support recruiting activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate follow-ups
  • Assist with onboarding and new-hire documentation
  • Maintain employee records and HR files with strict confidentiality
  • Respond to employee questions related to HR processes and policies
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience handling FMLA administration and documentation
  • Experience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition processes
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and HR systems
