Customer Service Representative Contract-to-hire

Pay: $52,000–$53,000 annually

Schedule: Full time, First shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Overview: LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with one of our clients to hire a Customer Service Representative. This role supports service technicians and customers by managing service and sales orders, responding to inquiries, and delivering dependable, high-quality customer service. This position is based onsite in an office environment in the Cincinnati area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and emails from customers and service technicians
  • Provide accurate product and service information in alignment with company policies
  • Recommend appropriate corrective services to resolve customer issues or concerns
  • Maintain accurate customer files and documentation
  • Enter and manage sales orders using OMS/WMS systems
  • Assist customers in identifying correct part numbers
  • Prepare and send quotes, order confirmations, and tracking information
  • Follow up with customers regarding inquiries and order status
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues efficiently

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documentation
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to customers
  • Previous experience using OMS or WMS platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Office-based environment with a generally quiet noise level
  • Ability to remain stationary for approximately 50 percent of the workday
  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment
