Bilingual HR Generalist

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR Generalist to join our client's team. This is a hands-on, well-rounded HR role that supports the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on HR operations, compliance, and administrative support.

This position works closely with a small HR team and supports approximately 200 employees across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is someone who can step in with minimal training, work independently, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding, including offer letters, background checks, and new hire paperwork
  • Support benefits administration, including invoice reconciliation and employee updates
  • Assist with payroll-related support, including auditing timecards and responding to manager inquiries
  • Maintain employee records, compliance documentation, and training files
  • Coordinate FMLA and leave administration with third-party providers
  • Handle workers' compensation and safety processes, including incident reporting and documentation
  • Process invoicing and purchase orders for HR-related expenses and office supplies
  • Provide support within HRIS (Paycom) for data entry and employee updates
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, including interview scheduling
  • Serve as a resource for employee and manager HR inquiries
  • Provide occasional front office support (greeting visitors, opening/closing office)

Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish (spoken required)
  • Experience working with an HRIS system (Paycom preferred; training available)
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance
  • Experience with workers' compensation, payroll support, or benefits administration is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
