We are currently seeking a WEST COAST Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team, as part of the B2B Distribution Sales Team!

The Opportunity

LG Electronics drive innovation to fundamentally change the way people use and deploy AV and IT, by developing technology and solutions that deliver a true, uncompromising experience.

We are looking for a talented Sr. Distribution Account Manager. This is a home office based role and can be located in any larger city on the west coast in close proximity to an airport with easy transit to other major cities. This position requires working knowledge within the AV and IT distribution industry.

Your role as a Sr. Account Manager requires you to work closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Accounting, Business Development and other groups within LG and Distribution customers to build mind-share, market share and ultimately grow the LG brand within the Distribution and Reseller community in the AV and IT industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implementation of strategies to expand the LG market share within a distributor or set of distributors
  • Internal and external alignment of the tasks necessary to implement the divisional and channel specific strategies
  • Attainment of business plan target for overall revenue in addition to attainment of targets for the individual product categories
  • Participate in the design and execution of the go to market strategy with regular and periodic tracking and reporting
  • Manage forecast accuracy and align with Product Management
  • Manage channel and LG inventory levels for optimization
  • Coordinating with PM to address overstocks or aged inventory when necessary. Negate returns with sales actions.
  • Manage monthly sales in and out plan, forecasts, action plans and resources as they change and adapt to a constantly changing competitive environment
  • Targeting and acquisition of Reseller base breadth and depth goals
  • Weekly observation of competitive products, pricing, promotions and any other actions
  • Daily management of funded infrastructure and sales/marketing investments
  • Liaise with internal groups to optimize marketing dollars and activities for maximum brand exposure and growth
  • Manage administrative tasks with support from Inside Sales team
  • Represent LG Electronics at trade shows and other speaking engagements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in AV or IT Network solutions with a proven track record of results
  • Experience in AV or IT Technologies, such as; Large format displays, Small format displays, collaboration technologies, digital signage content
  • Experience with IT or AV Distribution accounts (established relationships preferred)
  • Solid business acumen and thought leadership in sales, marketing, operations, finance and account P&L.
  • Experience with SalesForce CRM a plus
  • A desire to interface directly with customers, end users and OEM's.
  • Availability and willingness to travel {up to 70%) to customer sites and trade shows as required.

This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed. This position provides a Sales incentive bonus.

Recruiting Range

$120,000 - $138,000 USD
