The role:

The primary objective of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to expand LexisNexis' customer base across Europe and Africa.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and target relevant prospects through inbound and outbound approaches, leveraging data, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and target accounts defined in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams.

• Execute a structured, multi-channel prospecting strategy (email, phone, social media, etc.) to generate qualified sales meetings through creativity, persistence, and resilience.

• Qualify prospects and meetings, advance opportunities through the marketing and sales funnel, and provide Sales teams with clear, actionable insights (context, needs, challenges, maturity).

• Work with modern sales engagement and prospecting tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong Engage) to optimize performance, tracking, and interaction quality.

• As a member of the Marketing team, collaborate closely with Sales teams (Hunters and Farmers) to deploy effective growth strategies and contribute to the company's revenue objectives.

Experience & profile:

• Commercial education (business school or equivalent) with a first experience as an SDR/BDR, in prospecting, or in B2B sales—ideally within a technology-driven environment.

• International scope (Western Europe and French-speaking Africa): fluent French and fluent English are mandatory; any additional language is a strong advantage.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong phone presence, and the ability to engage prospects with impact.

• Comfortable with high-volume prospecting, resilient, persistent, and motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.

• Well-organized, results-driven, with strong interpersonal skills and a value-driven approach to prospect engagement.

• Strong team player, proficient with CRM and prospecting tools (Salesforce preferred), with a strong desire to learn and grow.
