Architects & Engineers Associate Attorney

Attorney Position

The New York office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Architects & Engineers Practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and at least one to seven years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation including case management, motion practice, and discovery, as well as handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Experience defending professional liability claims involving Architects & Engineers is a plus. Admission to the New York Bar is required.

They have defended hundreds of cases in state and federal court, arbitrations and mediations, involving structural, geotechnical, architectural, fire protection systems, electrical, mechanical, surveying, curtain wall, sanitary sewer, electrical power lines, civil engineering, HVAC design defects, design contract disputes, construction management claims, delay claims, cost overruns, scheduling disputes, specifications defects, change orders, and environmental contamination issues.
