Appellate/Trial Support Associate Attorney

The Miami, FL office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an Appellate/Trial Support Associate Attorney to join its Appellate Practice.

The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) to seven (7) years of appellate experience, including a working knowledge of state and federal civil and appellate procedure, and excellent advocacy and writing skills. Admission to the Florida Bar is required.

The attorneys who comprise Lewis Brisbois' national Appellate Practice handle matters in federal and state courts coast-to-coast, including in the Supreme Court of the United States. These experienced and accomplished lawyers, several of whom are board-certified in appellate law, practice in all of our major markets and are familiar with local appellate court customs and procedures. They have generated hundreds of published appellate opinions as well as thousands of unpublished decisions, consistently securing significant victories each year in jurisdictions throughout the country. The successful candidate will have experience evaluating trial records, writing effective briefs, analyzing and framing factual and legal issues considering the appellate standard of review, conducting legal research, and presenting oral argument.
