We're searching for an Account Executive who is passionate and determined for driving sales, overachieving financial targets by developing and implementing our 4-P strategy and looking for all opportunities across the Canadian marketplace. This role will report directly to our Sales Manager, Key Accounts.
About the Job
- Leverage strong commercial acumen to drive revenue growth, optimize profitability, and support execution of sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, while balancing direct account management, business development, and agent management in select territories.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align floor plans, assortment, order execution, inventory flow, and forecasting to ensure seamless delivery and business impact.
- Use data-driven insights, retail metrics, and P&L understanding to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and influence decision-making across internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead key customer touchpoints including seasonal strategy meetings, sell-ins, and market appointments with a focus on delivering clear, actionable storytelling and KPI alignment.
- Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to proactively uncover opportunities and respond with agility.
- Monitor day-to-day administrative tasks including order management, inbound inventory analysis, sales reporting, account support, seasonal assortment building as examples.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in retail/wholesale apparel or consumer packaged goods
- Strong understanding of the Canadian retail market and brand landscape, with clear perspective on trending fashion brands, lifestyle brands and denim brands.
- Proven commercial and business acumen with the ability to translate data and trends into actionable strategies that drive growth and customer value.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to influence across functions, align priorities, and build productive internal and external relationships.
- Thorough understanding of retail math and business metrics including sales, revenue, margin, inventory turns, sell thru %, fill rates, dilution, AUR as examples.
- Clear, confident communicator with well-developed negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable navigating complexity, managing multiple priorities, and delivering in fast-paced environments.
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), Word, Outlook, with working knowledge of SAP and SAS forecasting.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and accountable with a focus on performance and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership with a collaborative approach to coaching, alignment, and team contribution.
This is a hybrid position based in our Markham, Ontario office (but we are also open to Vancouver-based candidates). You will be expected in office 2 days per week, typically Tuesday-Wednesday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
