It's an exciting time to be with Pool City! Pool City is looking for additional team members to take us to the next level. The Sales Associate will be responsible for exceeding company-set revenue goals and converting digital and walk-in leads into sales. The person in this role will ensure an outstanding experience for all owners of our pools, hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, patio furniture, billiards, and other quality products.
Key responsibilities include: converting leads into deals while maintaining business relationships with customers, selling luxury product lines around the concept of health and relaxation, and creating revenue growth by following up with every lead in a timely manner. The Sales Associate must also monitor the performance of KPI's in all aspects of the business, hold themselves to the highest standard of professionalism and accountability, and follow all operational and sales processes. Merchandising, cleaning, and replenishing showroom as needed are also part of the role. The Sales Associate must be willing to work a flexible retail work schedule and make site visits to customers' homes when needed. They must also be able to work primarily inside and sometimes outside for work-related events.
Attributes, skills, and abilities include being customer orientated, attention to detail and result driven, entrepreneurial minded, and a team player. Qualifications include personal drive and accountability to results, attention for detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, GSuite, Gmail, and Outlook, experience with lead management systems, willingness to work a flexible schedule, dependability, self-motivation, excellent verbal communication skills, excellent typing and writing skills, ability to work in a competitive sales environment, and at least 3 years of sales and/or customer service skills and experience.
Benefits include a base hourly wage, lucrative bonus/commission potential, medical/dental/vision/401k with matching, paid time off and sick time, employee discounts, and advancement opportunities. Potential total earnings with commission are $50,000 - $75,000 in your first year, with lots of room for growth. Working conditions include being physically able to lift and carry at least 25 lbs. when needed, owning and operating a smartphone, having reliable transportation, and being willing to work an occasional offsite event.
