Data Engineer

We're looking for a Data Engineer to join us in either our Taulov or Greve office in Denmark. Your impact: make data reliable, simple, and useful – so our colleagues can make better decisions without second-guessing the numbers.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means Finance trusts the numbers, Sales can forecast without juggling spreadsheets, and Operations rely on shipment performance because it shows up clearly on dashboards and reports. When data flows smoothly and quietly in the background, you'll know you're winning.

What You'll Do

• Streamline: Expose shipment, finance, and HR data in clear warehouse layers
• Query: Write SQL/PSQL and build reports in Power BI/Excel
• Validate: Keep data flowing between CargoWise, CarLo, Axapta/AX, and integrations – and fix issues before they spread
• Improve Quality: Establish rulesets and measure data quality to meet LEMAN's and our customers' needs
• Orchestrate: Move and schedule data pipelines with Azure Data Factory
• Enrich: Use Python when datasets need extra work
• Define: Work with Finance, Operations, and Sales to set rulesets and KPIs that turn raw data into business-ready dashboards
• Improve: Support projects like migrating into the new data warehouse, building sales forecasts, and cleaning shipment data

What We're Looking For

• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Power BI/Excel
• Experience with Azure Data Factory. And if you have tried Python, it's only a plus
• Curiosity for how the business works, not just how the data looks
• Comfort with complexity – you don't mind when a query feels like detective work
• A collaborative mindset – because none of this happens alone
• An interest in AI and automation is, of course, welcome – did we surprise you?

You'll report to Mads Bjørn Hansen and work closely with Ken Seitzberg, the IT team, Finance, and Operations. We're collaborative, curious, and direct. We like solving problems together, and while our systems are – some might call – a bit complex, our people are easy to work with.
