Software Engineer
The Transportation Solution Division within the Leidos Civil group is seeking Software Engineers who will be a member of a dynamic team working on the one of several Air Traffic Management programs including:
En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) , the heart of the Next Generation Air Transportation System and the pulse of the National Airspace System, providing the foundation for NexGen functions
Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) , a tower based system that improves surface management and electronic flight strips
Investment Research and Development (IRAD) projects in support of the Brand New Air Traffic Control System.
SkyLine-X™ provides an array of advanced air traffic management capabilities to improve aircraft safety, performance, and efficiency across the world's airspace.
Primary Responsibilities:
Tasks will include the development of design and coding of the program software, including Object Oriented programming concepts, XML, Javascript, C, C++, Java and Python.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidates must have completed a degree program in a relevant discipline; for example, engineering, computer science.
- Candidates must have the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
- Candidates must be US Citizens
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including experience through academic projects
