Salesforce Support Developer
Leidos Engineering, LLC, the implementer for Ameren Illinois' award-winning energy efficiency programs, seeks a Salesforce Support Developer.
Location: This position is fully remote. Ameren Illinois and Leidos believe it is very important to provide employment opportunities to the utility ratepayers that reside in Illinois. Therefore, the candidate must reside in the Ameren Illinois service territory (roughly the southern two-thirds of Illinois).
The Salesforce Support Developer primary responsibility is to support the user productivity, security, and development of a custom designed Salesforce platform software. This position is in a mission-critical, highly integrated customer environment, often with aggressive deadlines.
This position will report directly to the IT Project Delivery Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support for ongoing user issues and request of custom applications modifications for a wide variety of user constituents.
- Ability to analyze and translate requirements working with a wide variety of user constituents.
- Assist in coding, configuration, maintenance, installation, testing, and debugging of developed custom applications with Salesforce platform.
- Assist in management of Salesforce system platform security with best practice implementation.
- Actively participate in regular team and client meetings to ensure program needs are being met for development and data security.
- Capable of multitasking and working several diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines.
- Assist in management of website(s) stability, availability, and user access
- Assist in management of website(s) patches and security updates to WordPress and plugins
- Assist in management of website (s) and domain DNS, SSL, and security updates
- Assist in operational support for ongoing user issues and request in relation to website administration
- Assist in operational support for ongoing user issues and request of custom applications modifications
Required Education, Skills, Qualities and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in software development or related with 2+ years of experience. Relevant experience in lieu of degree considered.
- 2+ years of Salesforce administration and development
- Strong technical knowledge of IT software system configuration, algorithms, and architecture.
- Demonstrated skills in translating customer requirements and processes from a diverse, cross functional set of systems users into technical specifications, documenting, and then working to develop outputs.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work task independently with good time management.
- Ability to make unanticipated changes to production deliverables with short notice.
- Demonstrated understanding of data security for confidential and protected data.
Desired Education, Skills, Qualities and Experience:
- Experience with best practices and creation/maintenance of complex Salesforce Lightning Flows.
- Experience in configuration of Salesforce Experience Builder portals.
- 2+ years of Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a combination of LightSail, Route 53, Certificate Management, Bitnami or related
- 2+ years of AWS utilizing S3, DataSync, RDS
- 2+ years of DNS, SSL, domain administration
- 2+ years JAVA or APEX
- Strong creative development skills
- Strong technical writing skills
