Leidos currently has an opening for a Flight Test And Evaluation Engineer to work in the National Capital Region. The candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting program test and evaluation activities at multiple government and contractor sites, as well as U.S. Government (USG) test range facilities. A successful candidate's insight will inform input and advice to the customer's Chief Engineer and Program Director and will have a significant impact on enterprise system implementation strategies.
• Coordinate day-to-day efforts among multiple stakeholders across different geographic locations
• Maintain strong relationships with multiple test organizations, integrating Contractor Test (CT), Developmental Test (DT), and Operational Test (OT)
• Provide customer leadership with technical advice and input that directly impacts strategic goals
• Write and/or review test plans; perform test data and product analysis; oversee requirements verification activities; and write and/or review final test reports
• Develop and maintain program test master plans
• Coordinate and execute test range activities for system and subsystem testing
• Develop, coordinate, and/or evaluate Modeling and Simulation (M&S) efforts
• BA/BS degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or an MS degree with 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
• Electronic Warfare (EW) and/or ELINT experience
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
• Experience with military flight testing and EW test range operations
Must possess a current/active TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered, and willingness to complete a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
