Field Operations Lead

Leidos is seeking a highly motivated Field Operations Lead to join a mature OCONUS program. The qualified Field Service Lead will support a very dynamic program and must have a broad range of experience supporting quick reaction program requirements.

This is a full time OCONUS position.

Position will require a brief temporary work assignment in Chantilly, Virginia, prior to relocating overseas on a long-term international assignment. Relocation costs to OCONUS location are included.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deploy OCONUS to site with the opportunity for leave every 4- 6 months throughout the year.
  • Work full-time at OCONUS site as part of the Leidos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team.
  • Coordinate with the larger O&M team for a wide range of facility, logistics, IT and network issues
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, IT and network systems throughout OCONUS facility, including operations and maintenance, modifications, and status/metrics reporting.
  • Maintain as-built designs, ensuring all site changes are recorded and documented properly.
  • Analyze data from site monitoring systems to support expansion and improve efficiencies.
  • Work with CONUS SMEs and Senior Engineers to implement modifications, repairs, or enhancements. Ensure that all installations are done in accordance with set standards.
  • Leads and manages works of other technical staff that has significant impact on project results/outputs.
  • Influences development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results.
  • Recommends and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of function's strategy and operation

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must be a US Citizen with current TS/SCI with polygraph.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in two or more of the below basic qualifications
  • Install and maintain diverse electrical or heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
  • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair personal computer systems, hardware, software, computer peripherals, and cable installation.
  • Perform general and preventative maintenance on electrical or HVAC systems.
  • Understanding of the principles of designing, installing and operating diesel generator systems, voltage regulators and air conditioning systems.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC and/or other trade skills, design principles and operations.
  • Experience working with basic networking and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches.
  • Experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity.
  • Experience with Physical Security, Access Control and CCTV.

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and Project
  • Single-handedly lift and carry 45-pound systems and be capable of prolonged use of site equipment (e.g., hand tools and power tools).
  • Familiarity with safety rules and first aid procedures.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to work closely with other professionals.
  • Minimum commitment of 2 year at site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with building management systems; operating, monitoring, and programming.
  • Crossed trained in multiple trades (Electrical, plumbing, structural, IT, Network)
  • Knowledge of logistics and procurement of materials, inventory management
  • Active trade license in HVAC or Electrical systems (minimum Journeyman)

Pay Range

Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
