Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Test Engineer to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility.

Primary responsibilities:
- Work with multi-disciplinary team to develop test hardware and software from requirements definition through deployment at manufacturing facilities.
- Work with design engineers, test engineers and manufacturing engineers to understand assembly and testing requirements.
- Work with suppliers to manufacture test hardware.
- Work to implement test software for testing production assemblies.
- Be responsible for identification and mitigation of test readiness issues through the development process.
- Set up manual or automated test equipment to conduct functional, environmental, and life tests.
- Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
- Recommend corrections and improvements to test procedures to simplify testing and/or assembly processes.
- Work on a variety of products to include both military and commercial customers.
Basic qualifications:
- BS degree with 4-8 years of prior relevant work experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant work experience.
- Experience with testing of electronic assemblies including using In-circuit Functional Testers.
- Use schematic capture tools to design test hardware.
- Develop test code using NI LabVIEW, TestStand or Python.
- Troubleshoot down to the electronic component level of simple to medium complexity electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Proficiency in using corporate production control processes, creating documents and spreadsheets for manufacturing information.
- Basic experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing documentation.
- U.S Citizen and meet the eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or demonstrated experience with electrical engineering design concepts.
- Current NI LabVIEW certification (CLAD/CLD).
- Solid understanding of RF test equipment.
