LeanDNA Senior Support Engineer

Your Future Team

Join our global remote Support Engineering team, where we bring together supply chain, SQL, and SaaS experts to reduce inventory, manage shortages, and increase supplier communications for improved on-time delivery performance for our customers. Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and providing exceptional support to our clients. This is a short-term, contract role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving database issues using SQL.
  • Leveraging your ERP knowledge to support and optimize solutions at the transformation layer.
  • Utilizing AWS for log analysis and troubleshooting data synchronization issues.
  • Utilizing git and merging code using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality.
  • Creating and updating customer and internal documentation.
  • Developing and refining internal processes and tools.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams using Jira, Zendesk, Gitlab, AI tools, and Slack.
  • Committing code to production environments with confidence and precision while striving to optimize code for faster data ingestion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a support engineering role with a focus on database troubleshooting and ERP systems integrations.
  • Proficiency in MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, MariaDB, Athena, and Glue.
  • Proficiency in AWS, Git, CI/CD practices, and AI tools.
  • Strong experience in writing unit tests and maintaining code quality.
  • Excellent communication skills for creating clear and concise documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with frequent changes.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Zendesk is a plus.
