DevOps Engineer Position

The Position

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong sense of ownership, capable of leading initiatives across multiple projects and following them over time, ensuring continuity, quality, and sustainable improvements in the infrastructure. The ideal candidate must combine deep technical skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with development, operations, and business teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Develop and implement automation strategies for building and deploying using tools like Ansible, Bitbucket Actions, GitHub Actions, and others.
• Monitor the infrastructure and automation systems to ensure high performance, availability, and resilience.
• Follow up on infrastructure initiatives and projects over time, ensuring their evolution, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and automation.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of changes and new services.
• Document processes, architectures, and configurations in a clear and maintainable way.
• Assume ownership of cross-functional projects, proposing improvements and maintaining a long-term vision.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (minimum 3 years).

Solid experience in Linux system administration (minimum 5 years).

Practical experience in automation with Terraform, Ansible, Bitbucket/GitHub Actions, or similar tools (minimum 2 years).

Experience in managing Docker containers and orchestration with Kubernetes.

Experience in using monitoring tools; knowledge of Datadog is highly desirable.

Ability to assume ownership and continuity of projects over time, ensuring tangible and measurable results.

Skills to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and maintain clear communication in Spanish and English.

Experience in high-traffic and high-availability environments.

Desirable: experience managing systems with PHP, knowledge of SaltStack, IBM Cloud, bare metal, and additional integration/automation tools.
