Event Operations Coordinator
Law Business Research, an award-winning global provider of business intelligence for the legal and intellectual property markets, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic Asia-Pacific events team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and secure suitable venues for conferences, dinners, receptions, and awards ceremonies.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Maintain detailed documentation including timelines, contracts, travel plans, and checklists.
- Track and report on event budgets and expenditures.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams including sales, editorial, sponsorship, and production.
- Lead onsite event coordination and ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with C-level stakeholders.
- Previous experience in event management is a plus.
- A team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Willing to travel occasionally
