Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant

LAWAZEM is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining financial records. Responsibilities:

1. Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests in a timely manner
2. Coordinate approval of invoices with relevant departments
3. Prepare and maintain payment schedules, ensuring timely payments to vendors
4. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
5. Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
6. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable
7. Participate in audits related to accounts payable
8. Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
9. Collaborate with other departments to streamline the accounts payable process
