AudioVisual Field Engineer

The Audiovisual (AV) Field Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of professional audiovisual systems. This role ensures that all systems perform according to design specifications and industry standards, providing clients with reliable, high-quality AV experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test AV components.
  • Perform on-site commissioning and configuration of systems such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, and Cisco/Poly conferencing platforms.
  • Conduct system diagnostics, resolve technical issues, and ensure all AV systems function to design intent and customer satisfaction.
  • Program and configure AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX) and DSPs (Biamp, QSC, Shure).
  • Document installation progress, configuration settings, and test results for project closeout packages.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years AV experience
  • Crestron experience
  • CTS preferred but not required
