Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Lining Engineer to join the team and to grow and progress their career in the utilities sector working for a growing company.

Location: Stafford

Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.

Salary: Up to £15.50 per hour.

Responsibilities – but not limited to:

• Working on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit.
• Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually run a van across all contracts (Training will be provided).
• Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided).
• Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided).
• Risk assessments and updating work packs.
• Dealing with customers.
• The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend.

Experience and qualifications desirable required for the role:

• To be flexible in their working approach as on occasion may need to work overtime such as at weekends.
• Ability to work in all weathers.
• To be able to cover long distances by foot.
• The desire to progress within the company.
• Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential).
