Outpatient Nursing Services Manager, Full-time or greater to fill job duties, hours vary, may be required to do call with coverage. Salaried, Exempt; Non-Union
The Outpatient Nursing Services Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of nursing services within the outpatient department. This includes oversight of clinical care, staffing, patient flow, and quality improvement in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practice. The manager ensures the delivery of safe, compassionate, and efficient care for patients receiving outpatient therapy.
Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
Current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing required. Nationally recognized infusion certification and/or Oncology certification preferred. BLS and ACLS required within 3 months of hire. NRP within 6 months, and TNCC, ENPC and FHM certification within 12 months of hire.
Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience is required. Candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge of IV therapy, medication administration, patient safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Experience in a Critical Access Hospital, rural health or outpatient clinic preferred.
Broad understanding of outpatient clinical operations, including patient flow, scheduling, and care coordination. Knowledge of nursing practice standards, state and federal regulations, and accreditation requirements relevant to outpatient services.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical and administrative software. Demonstrates exceptional oral and written communication skills.
