Position Available in Münster:

We are looking for two Animal Care Assistants (m/f/d) in the Research and Clinic direction to join our team immediately on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your Responsibilities:

• Humane care and supervision of laboratory animals: Ensuring the well-being of animals through daily care and observation.
• Hygiene and environmental control: Cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas and checking environmental conditions.
• Health monitoring: Conducting health checks and documenting observations according to the highest animal welfare standards.
• Development and training: Participating in training sessions on new procedures and techniques to continuously optimize care and research.

Your Qualifications:

• You have a strong interest in working with animals.
• As a lateral entrant, you have successfully completed a relevant qualification.
• Willingness to further develop and openness to new challenges in a scientific environment.
• Flexibility and reliability, even with changing tasks and working hours.
• If you are a lateral entrant, we offer the opportunity to achieve a qualification as a Lab Animal Caregiver – Research and Clinic and provide all necessary support through our Lab Animal Masters. We cover all costs for required internships and exams.
